AttractAdria is an EU-funded project focused on building a strong research environment in the Adria Region, specifically in personalised preventive healthcare. Ultimately, the project aims to establish a supportive environment for young researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina who are passionate about innovative health solutions, helping them grow and lead in this field.

6AVA (6thSense Asset Valorisation Action) is a Horizon Europe Coordination and Support
Action that aims to advance the market uptake of technologies developed in the H2020
project SIXTHSENSE. The project focuses on adapting and commercialising two key
solutions in Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina: (1) an Industry 4.0 health
monitoring device for worker safety in demanding industrial environments, and (2) an IT
solution for firefighter operational management. By aligning these technologies with regional
Smart Specialisation Strategies and industrial needs, 6SAVA supports their further
development and prepares them for national and regional funding opportunities and wider
technology uptake.

SynGRID is a Horizon Europe project connecting research institutions and industry from
Slovenia, Croatia, and Greece. The project focuses on smarter management of low-voltage
electricity grids, enabling better integration of renewable energy sources into local energy
systems. Through cross-sector and cross-border collaboration, SynGRID builds regional
expertise and drives innovation in clean energy infrastructure. Running from May 2024 to
April 2027, the project contributes to a more flexible and sustainable European energy grid.

PATTERN transitions smart-city innovations from the Horizon 2020 MARVEL project into a commercial Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. It uses artificial intelligence to process audio-visual data from street cameras into anonymised statistics to help optimise traffic and mobility. The platform also features anomaly detection functionality, allowing it to identify events like vehicle accidents. Ultimately, PATTERN bridges the gap between research and the market by planning a large-scale pilot in Malta and boosting the commercialisation capacity of “Widening countries” like Greece, Malta, and Croatia
