SYNHEALTH in a nutshell
Welcome to SYNHEALTH – an innovative project set to reshape Europe’s preventive healthcare approach. This pioneering research program, funded by the Horizon Europe Programme, aims to shift Europe’s approach to remedial healthcare through the adoption of Genos research on glycan biomarkers for personalized preventive healthcare.
SYNHEALTH, through compiling state-of-the-art 15 years-going Genos research on glycomics integrating multiple large epidemiological and clinical studies, is now focusing on previously EU-projects funded discoveries made on glycan biomarkers, in order to allow their exploitation in two Croatian and one Slovenian regions together with the University of Maribor.
Our key focuses will be:
Developing a prototype of a person-centered AI based client support tool to enable scalability of GlycanAge personalised counselling; prepare two proposals for ERDF calls that will enable translation of research results into technologies for personalised preventive medicine that will be in active use in the 3 target regions. But also, building capacity for innovation, its management and efficient knowledge transfer.
